Temple of Power is a Zeus-themed 6×5 pays-anywhere slot BGaming released on 1 April 2026 with the studio Perfect Position. Every launch press release called it Gates of Power; BGaming’s site now lists it as Temple of Power, and the old name survives in the game’s internal ID. BGaming rates it very high volatility, with a 96.03% RTP, multipliers up to x1,000 and a 15,000x cap.

Why two names?
The launch coverage from 2 to 7 April 2026 – iGaming Business, G3 Newswire, European Gaming, Yogonet – all used Gates of Power, and BGaming’s own news post still carries that headline. The game page, Players’ Hub and BGaming’s later articles use only Temple of Power, and the opening paragraph of that same post now uses the new name. No source gives a date or reason for the change. If a casino lists Gates of Power by BGaming, it is this game.
Multipliers above the reels
This is what separates the game from other pays-anywhere slots such as Gates of Olympus or Bonanza Billion. Multipliers don’t land on the grid. Instead:
- Values from x2 to x1,000 appear in slots above the reels and change on every base-game spin.
- A Bolt symbol activates them.
- Activated values add up and apply when a winning tumble occurs. If there is no win, nothing is added.
So the multipliers above the reels only count once Bolts activate them and the spin produces a winning tumble.
Bonus and Super Bonus
- 4 scatters start the Bonus round, with multipliers from x2 to x1,000.
- 5 scatters start the Super Bonus, with a higher floor of x10.
- In both rounds multipliers keep their values throughout, and a progressive total multiplier grows as they are applied, up to x1,000.
BGaming and the launch press don’t publish how many free spins either round gives or how retriggers work, so check the paytable in the game.
Four buy modes
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Buy Bonus | Buys the Bonus or the Super Bonus round |
| Power Spins | Guarantees at least one Bolt or scatter, with multipliers of at least x50 |
| Bonus Hunt | Raises the chance of the Super Bonus |
| +300% Bonus Boost | Raises the chance of the Bonus round |
No prices are published for any of the four – they are shown only in the game. Our bonus buys guide explains how such modes change the cost of a session.
BGaming’s Igor Bondarenko called it “one of our highest-paying and most volatile titles” at launch.
Pros and cons

Cons
- Very high volatility

Who it suits
Good fit: experienced players with large budgets who want a 15,000x ceiling and several ways to buy into the action. Poor fit: anyone who wants to know the rules up front – free spins counts and buy prices aren’t published outside the game.
Verdict
The Bolt-activated multipliers above the reels are a real twist on the pays-anywhere format, and the 15,000x cap matches Bonanza Billion’s. The 96.03% RTP is average, and the lack of published free spins counts and buy prices makes it harder to judge than it should be. Read the in-game paytable before you play.
