Mystery Heist is a vault-robbery slot BGaming released on 15 January 2026, starring a thief called Win Chanso – inspired, according to the launch press, by Vincenzo Peruggia, who stole the Mona Lisa from the Louvre. Its core feature is the Sticky Mystery Prize: symbols that stick for three spins and only reveal their value when four or more are on the reels. The numbers: 97.12% RTP, medium-high volatility, a 2,000x cap.
Key facts
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Release | 15 January 2026 |
| Layout | 243 ways (BGaming) |
| RTP | 97.12% |

BGaming lists 243 ways, while the launch press and several review sites describe a 5×4 grid – which would normally give 1,024 ways. We report BGaming’s figure.
Sticky Mystery Prizes
- In the base game a Sticky Mystery Prize stays on the reels for three spins.
- It reveals its value only when four or more are on the reels at once.
- Values range from x0.1 to x20 the bet, plus four Special Prizes: Mini x25, Minor x50, Major x250, Grand x500.
Because each prize sticks for three spins, a few early ones give the following spins a chance to add the rest. BGaming doesn’t say what happens to prizes if fewer than four are showing when they expire.
Free Spins and Super Free Spins
| Scatters | Round | Minimum prize value |
|---|---|---|
| 3 | 10 Free Spins | x0.2 the bet |
| 4 | 10 Super Free Spins | x1 the bet |
Scatters appear only on reels 2 to 5, at most one per reel. At the start of either round they turn into Sticky Mystery Prizes that stay in place for the whole round; the Super version raises the minimum value of every prize. BGaming doesn’t describe retriggers. For the general logic of rounds where symbols lock in place, see our Hold and Win guide.
Three buys
- Free Spins – from x70 the bet, according to the launch press.
- Super Free Spins and Mystery Buy (a random choice of the two rounds) – prices are shown only in the game.
Our bonus buys guide explains how to weigh buys like these.
The character
Win Chanso reacts to what happens on the reels; BGaming files the game under its character-driven Entertainment line. Game producer Alex Baliukonis: “Character-driven slots are at the heart of our #Entertainment game world.” For another BGaming heist with a character, see Train Heist Johnny Cash.

Poor fit: anyone chasing a large ceiling – the cap is 2,000x and the top Special Prize is 500x.[/wpremark]
Verdict
Mystery Heist builds a clear game around one idea: prizes that stick for three spins and reveal their values once four or more are on the reels. The 97.12% RTP is high and the Super Free Spins raise every prize’s minimum value. The 2,000x cap is modest, and the grid description and several rules details are less clear than they should be.
