Elvis Frog TRUEWAYS is the third game in BGaming’s Elvis Frog series and the studio’s first slot on its own TRUEWAYS engine. Released on 20 October 2022, it moves the character from the 5×3 grid of Elvis Frog in Vegas to six reels with up to 262,144 ways, raises the ceiling to 5,000x and adds two features the original never had: wild multipliers in free spins and Lightning symbols that split coin cells.

How TRUEWAYS works here
Each of the six reels shows between two and eight symbols on every spin, so the number of ways changes from spin to spin – up to 262,144 when every reel shows eight. Wins pay left to right for matching symbols on adjacent reels. Elvis is the wild and appears on reels 2 to 5 only, replacing everything except the bonus symbol.
Compared with the original, base-game wins come less often: about one spin in 4.33 pays, against roughly one in 2.21 in Elvis Frog in Vegas. That is the cost of the higher volatility and the bigger cap.
Free spins: wild multipliers that add up
Four, five or six bonus symbols award 12, 15 or 20 free spins. Three or more during the round add 5 more – a flat retrigger, unlike the later Wild West TRUEWAYS, which pays more spins for more scatters.
In free spins every wild carries a x2, x3 or x5 multiplier. BGaming’s rules say the multipliers on a spin are summed and the total is applied to all winning combinations. Two wilds with x3 and x5 therefore give x8, not x15. The rules don’t say the total carries over to the next spin, so read it as a per-spin bonus.
Coin Respin and the Lightning split
Six or more coins in a base-game spin start the Coin Respin on a separate 48-position board:
- The round starts with 3 respins, and only coins and Lightning symbols can land.
- A new coin or Lightning adds respins. BGaming’s own wording differs here: the game page says the count is “increased by 3”, while its Players’ Hub says it is “increased to 3”, which reads as a reset.
- Lightning splits cells: a big unit becomes two middle ones, a middle unit becomes two small ones. If it lands in a small cell, a random larger unit splits instead and the coin’s value appears in both halves.
- The round ends when the respins run out or the board is full, and all coin values are added up.
Coin values run from x1 to x20 in BGaming’s rules text, and its Players’ Hub also lists x100. Special coins award the Mini and Major jackpots, and filling all 48 positions awards the Mega. BGaming doesn’t publish the jackpot values; review sites list Mini 20x, Major 100x and Mega 1,000x. Splitting is what makes the full board reachable – more, smaller cells mean more chances for coins to land.
Bonus buy and Chance x2
- Buy: Free Spins or Coin Respin. BGaming shows the price on the button and scales it with the bet; review sites give 100x for either.
- Chance x2: “slightly increases the bet” and raises the odds of free spins or the Coin Respin. It can’t be combined with a buy, and its exact cost isn’t published.

This version keeps the character and the Coin Respin, then adds the parts that made later BGaming games popular: variable reels, added wild multipliers and a buy option. The Mega jackpot is open on every respin, which the badge games on the same engine don’t offer. The trade-off is very high volatility and a hit rate about half that of the 2020 original.
